Re Covid 19 School Update
Hi everyone. We hope you are all keeping well. School will not reopen for pupils until September but we will continue to do work with you on Google Classroom and with sending emails containing school work. Please remember the work given out is a guideline to help you while school is closed. Our Teachers hope to have meetings with their classes on Google Meet this week and it will be nice to for pupils to meet their teachers, SNAs and their class mates.
Our Second class were to have their First Communion Ceremony on May 9th. We know its disappointing that the day was postponed. However there will be another day organised for the ceremony when school reopens. So we will look forward to that and it will be an extra special day for our Second class.
Please check out our staff on Twitter at 'GNS Kanturk' who recorded all sorts of activities for Active week from their homes last week. It was all a bit of fun and they all had greetings for their pupils.
As always during this time please STAY SAFE .
We hope everyone is safe and well after the Easter break . We are now back to organising and planning work for home. Teachers are using Google classroom so if you haven't signed up for it you can do so by emailing the class teacher or email email@example.com. Similar work will be emailed to you every Monday if you are unable to sign up for Google classroom. We emphasize that this a guideline for work in the absence of school being open. There should be no pressure on anyone and we ask that you do only what it is possible for you to do. If anyone wishes to talk to a teacher please email and we will ring you. The important message for everyone is to Stay Safe during these strange times. Take care
As this is week three of our school closure we hope everyone is safe and keeping well. Please note an email was sent to everyone on April 2nd with information on accessing Google classroom after the Easter break, if the schools remain closed. Information and school work will still be emailed each week by the class teacher. For the Easter break there will be no new assigned work. We hope you keep safe and well during the Easter holidays
We hope everyone is okay and keeping safe. All information from school is being emailed to Parents/Guardians while the school remains closed. If you are not receiving emails from the school or class teacher please email the school at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our Principal Derval Vaughan emailed a newsletter (dated March 23rd) on behalf of the staff to parents and guardians. The letter gives some guidance and information on managing school work at home . However we stress that everyones health and safety comes first. Keep safe .
We hope everyone is well in light of the recent spread of the Virus. It is a diffcult time for everyone but hopefully if we all follow the guidelines and regulations given by the HSE this virus will not spread as quickly as is anticipated. Keep safe everybody and take care .
