As our Christmas holidays are drawing closer the boys and girls are busy practising their carol singing and music in school.
Here are the events happening in the next two weeks.
Mrs Linehan Junior Infants - ‘Sing Along’ on Tuesday 18th December at 1.30pm in school.
Miss O’Riordan Junior and Senior Infants and pupils from the Butterfly room, will perform their ‘What a Star ‘play on Wednesday 19th at 1.20pm.
Mrs O’Shea Senior and First Class will have their Sing Along on Thursday 20th at 1.30pm.
All Parents are welcome to see their children perform in school on those days.
Thursday 20th - 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th classes will go Carol Singing at the Credit Union at 11.am. Parents may also visit the Credit Union to see 3rd, 4th , 5th, 6th Carol singing.
The Parents Association
The Parent Association wish to invite you to their Christmas Coffee Morning on Friday 7th December from 9.30am – 12.pm. There will be a Raffle on the morning with great prizes. The money raised will go towards subsidising swimming and bus trips in the next two terms.
Thanks to the girls from 3rd to 6th who performed at the Senior Citizens Xmas Party. They were great and everyone enjoyed listening to them.
Well done to our girls who took part in the IRD Public Speaking Competition. We are very proud of them.
Swimming for 4th, 5th & 6th will begin on Friday January 11th, 2019 . Cost will be €25 for 5 sessions as the remaining cost is subsidised by the Parents Association.
On Thursday 6th December our Green School will take part in an Action Day for our 4th Green Flag. The Theme is the Marine Environment. Lots of activities are planned for each class – organised by the Green School Committee and 4th and 5th Class.
School will close at 12.30pm on Friday 21st December and re-open on Monday January,7th.

As the weather is cold and wet please ensure all pupils wear coats and caps/ hats/ hoods coming to school.
