HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY...

Welcome back after a lovely long Christmas holiday.Everybody is delighed to be back again and back into the swing of things. Right now we are very busy doing some lovely lessons and learning loads from our 2 teachers Ms Daly and Mr O Connor. We will be off to the library again next week and we can't wait for Zumba to start in a few weeks. 2nd class of course will be beginning preparations for first Penance shortly,so things are set to get very busy around here again!!!!!!!

We had a very busy run up to Christmas and we were all tired by the time we reached December 22nd!!! Some of the things we were involved in were:

  • Gymnastics; We had a great 6 weeks with Patsy doing tumbles, cartwheels and handstands. Some of us even did moves we thought we could not do!!! Patsy was very impressed and Aimee in 2nd class even made the school gymnastics team. well done Aimee!!!

  • Strictly come dancing was a great sucess for the school and on Monday December 19th the strictly dancers came in to dance for us all... WOW they were great.........

  • The Animal Roadshow was in school on December 19th too. We saw snakes, tortoise, an owl, chinchillas and a lizard. We all got to touch them and some of us were brave enough to hold them!!!

  • We went to Mercy House carol singing on Christmas week. We loved it. We sang loads of songs and said our Santa poem. It was lovely and warm in Mercy House, and it was great to sing to all the people who were coming in,and also Sr Helen and the people working hard there. We want to say thanks to Mrs Murphy who came with us playing the guitar and also to Sr Helen who gave us lots of goodies as we left....

  • SANTA came to visit us.It was a great finish to a very busy term and Santa assured us all that he was ready for Christmas but we all had to make sure we were in bed early!!! He even brough a sack full of chocolate... Lucky us!
